Stopping in Milan for the Armani men's collection was exciting, although the male models used were very. . .Odd looking to say the least. Curly haired and wide, many of them looking eastern European gangster. The collection itself contained a lot of grey tones, leather jackets, soft sweaters, and the most interesting fashion piece we found was the patent leather looking shiny shorts. We are not sure men will buy them, but they looked amazing on the runway.

Momaboma is one of the most interesting discoveries at Pitti. They started out making accessories out of cement bags and recycled paper. Now they have evolved to include old materials (have an old leather coat that you love but don't wear?), old magazines, and old advertising campaigns. Any thing you'd like to keep forever with you but restyle is withing their reach. Math papers, love letters, photos, and more can be transformed into a modern day accessory to carry with you always.
On Monday they are launching a new interactive website where customers can customize their own bag. One can send any paper or upload a graphic to became items that you carry with you daily.
This company is definetly one to watch and is expanding rapidly.

Pitti was indeed full of technology touching everywhere in fashion. One stand had this touch screen to browse their shoes.

One of the outstanding structures at the Pitti was definitly the Zinco house. With it's glass and orange tubes recalling the Pompidou center in Paris, you most definetly could not pass by without going inside.

Each area of Pitti has been created with a distinctive theme and design. It made for a stimulating journey from plaza to plaza. We found that it made the busy experience less exhausting and more creative. By the end of the day our legs were tired but our minds dreaming of tons of possibilities. For sure the Pitti team can feel proud to bring such a high quality experience to it's expo customers. We particularly liked the fractal designs.

Leading the forefront of collaborative efforts to bring cool to your lifestyle, ELEYKISHIMOTO and Eastpack bring you the blue and red lightning bolts for your carrying pleasure. 360Fashion Spotted these items at Pitti Imagine Uomo, we are excited to see these products in local stores soon.

The Cloud is an organic sculptural landmark that responds to human interaction located in the Piti welcome area. It expresses context awareness using it's senses (sensors), voice (sound), and light (optical fibers). The Cloud exam visitors to touch and interact in new ways. It can sense people as room as they approach, see them and feel them when it is touched. Manifesting emotions and behavior through sound and light. Hundreds of sensors and over 15,371 individually addressacale optical fibers. Constructed of carbon glass, containing more than 65 kilometers of fiber optics. The Cloud is part of the "Responding Fashion Trade Shows" long term project that Pitti Imagine launched with MIT Mobile Experience Lab in January 2007. Www.thecloud.ws
