OMyJimmy: A very good looking army

1. What kind of Ho are you ?
Ho by name, devilish Ho by nature... Developed the Ho'lyness since the very young age, grew up surrounded by fashionistic master minds, tarted around fabric mills, factories, boutiques and department stores around the globe. All the other 'normal' kids were crazy over GI Joe, roller skates, and Nintendo, but I started playing with needles, threads and machines at the young age of 7. Having memories of trekking up and down mountains of clothes, rollling around layers of fabric before grading and marker making. And of course, still did the occasional break dancing in my own ninja inspired outfit. I was also taught early to say 'no' to cheap clothing, materials like polyester & nylon are sinful, and bad cotton was banned from the household. I remember my constant complaints of hideous school uniform. The nylon blend trousers teamed with polyester blend wrinkle resistance shirts. When combined with *inspiring* bad tailoring, it was very difficult going around schools chasing other girlies under Sydney's 40 degrees summer heat.

Slightly more grown up now and moved to London, I still find myself fascinated by threads, needles, machines, ninjas, roller skates, Nintendos, oh, and break dancing. Having realised my dream of professional break dancing was going no where, nor is there an opportunity for freelance ninja, I started sketching my evil plan of world domination, with threads and needles. So my past experience has laid the foundation of the philosophy of OMyJimmy, ie, quality, fashionistic, timeless, and of course, superb for chasing girlies...or enough to stir up something at least.

2. When did you realise that you wanted to dominate the world ?
The inspiration and quest for world domination has always been a life ambition of mine. Heavily influence by japanese anime, pop culture, influential figures of current and past as well as most recently, politics and wars. I realised that everyone's past attempts were flawed and their approach are old-skool and conventional, which contributed to their failures. I believed the best way forward to world dominatoin is by seduction!! Seduced the world (or if you are daring, all the first ladies or presidents), then the world is yours!! No blood...just sweat! Hence the birth of OMyJimmy. OMyJimmy presents the story of Jimmy's quest of world domination by seduction. Every single print and design are inspired by 'timeless trends', hence the timeless styles. eg, celebrity jail sentences, celebrities rehab (re)visits, fembots (Elizabeth Hurley in Austin Powers), Pimps, hos, and what not.

3. What's the craziest message you've seen on a tshirt ? What wouldn't you say on a t-shirt ?
Crazy messges, too many, but not enough in this world. Problem is that once something sound crazy, everyone followed on and it become not so crazy after all. We need to continuously go more insane to keep sanity, a vicious cycle really! I would never put things on a t-shirt that I wouldn't say myself ...so that leaves very little of what I wouldn't say. Knowing my political incorrectness and open-mindedness to life, it would definitely get me into trouble. I am quite a rebellious thinker, often like to challenge common perspectives and discount traditional reasoning. Maybe I would need to put together a strong legal team first before speaking..

4. So you're using bamboo. What's your excuse for depriving pandas of their food ?
I am evil remember?? Let's starve the pandas! :)
Ah yes, I remember now. So apart from that, why?
I came across this new type of fibre a few years ago, and was absolutely amazed at its superior properties and quality over traditional cotton. I had the same concern as most would think as well...What about the pandas? They are becoming extincted, and yet I am taking away their food? However, further investigation discovered the panda really just need more lov'n. ;) There are thousands species of bamboo, and the ones used for fibres are not the eating type, so all pandas are safe...phew. Plus bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants, some can grow a few feet in one day, low water consumption, grown naturally without pesticides...I mean, I wouldn't want to own the world if it is no good, so definitely need to keep it fit.

5. There's a new trend that's spreading : the ultra-low cut v-neck for guys... what's your thoughts on that ?
It is rather interesting about men's wear trends. Us men now have much more options and choices of how we like our clothes. We can now wear daring colours without standing out like a sore thumb. We can have soft and luxurious fabrics without being branded as too feminine. Remember t-shirts in the old days? The tight choking crew neck tee that covered half of adam's apple? What were we thinking?? I love v-neck t-shirts, there are simply not enough of them in the market. V-necks are chic, grown up and some even slimming. You just look 'ready' in it. So I'd say wear them, and own the look.

6. What's the next step in World Domination ? You think I'd give out our secret plan away this easily?? Ummm... yes? The evil mastermind always does, in James Bond. Just before he's about to laser our hero in two. All I can say at this stage is that the next collection, Daddy will be coming soon...and more of Jimmy's entourage's and rivals' identities will be revealed.
