This was the day of a very special fashion show called “ARISE: AFRICAN PROMISE COLLECTIVE” and featured the following designers: Jewel by Lisa, Tiffany Amber, Eric Raisina and David Tlale. The show attracted many celebrities like Ameria, Sean Paul , Pussycat dolls Melanie Thornton and Damon Dash. Also Korto Momolu from Project Runway , current Miss Africa Usa Nyasha Zimucha, Dwight of RHOT, Bethann Hardson (African American model from the 1960s), and various fashion bloggers. Africans are famed for their fashion sense and it is very interresting to see these new designers, who bring out the words colorful and sexy in these fabulous gowns on the catwalk! I absolutely love these dresses and I think that we should keep an eye out for new African talent. They are going to take over!

Introducing the new T-shirts collection for men by Fortino Tapia.

In this short film I want to show two dresses and some of my t-shirt collection. The dress Renata wears, it’s from my first collection called “Somnis” (dreams), and the dress Sephora wears it’s from my new Collecion “Quan es posa fil a la música” (when you put thread to music) inspired in 20’s music. The t-shirts guys wear, it’s from my t-shirt collection called “entre línies” (between lines). When you’ll see the video, there’s a “mistake” in Renata shoes, it’s not a mistake, ‘cause it’s part of the story and I want to show how a dress can change with different shoes and have a good looking. It’s a dress you can wear with many styles of shoes. ENJOY IT!
